Neil Dulling
Neil Dulling joined IRI’s London office in April 2024 as Senior Specialist, Gas Ships. Mr. Dulling sailed with the Royal Fleet Auxiliary before moving to shoreside operations in a variety of technical roles for third-party ship managers supporting short-sea and deep-sea vessels. He then joined the MOL Group, managing safety and security in the European tanker sector for five years before being appointed HSSEQ Manager in the LNG division and later was promoted to Manager of the Environmental Centre of Excellence (Europe) for MOL LNG transport. An active member of the Nautical Institute, Mr. Dulling has served on their education and training committee, helped develop the Continuous Professional Development (CPD) scheme, chaired the renamed professional development committee, and led the IMO environment team for all greenhouse gas related matters. He is currently a Vice President of the Nautical Institute and in 2023 was elected as a fellow in recognition of his long term work there. He attended South Tyneside College as a cadet for his class 3 deck and Higher National Diploma in Nautical Science / Global Maritime Distress and Safety System General Operators Certificate (GOC) and attended Warsash Maritime College for his mates 2/II certificate. He holds various Royal Navy qualifications and received his Diploma in Ship Management from Lloyd’s Maritime Academy.
