Captain Sanjay Maini

Captain Sanjay Maini joined IRI in 2007 as Country Head of the Mumbai office. Captain Maini has over 20 years' experience at sea, including eight years spent as a Master on tankers. He has sailed with Teekay Shipping, BT Shipping, and ended his time at sea with Tesma Shipping (now Eitzen Maritime Services). While with Tesma, he helped develop standards with regards to safety, quality, and security. Captain Maini graduated from the prestigious T.S. Rajendra, a maritime institute in Mumbai, India and holds a Master Mariner’s license with no restrictions. He lectured part-time at the Maritime Institute in New Delhi, India, teaching Tanker Economics and Tanker Safety.
