International Registries, Inc. (IRI) opened its newest worldwide office in Busan, Republic of Korea at the start of December 2017. The opening of the Busan office brings the number of IRI offices worldwide to 28, all providing the quality service the industry has come to expect from the world’s second largest ship registry, the Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI). Though the RMI Registry continues to grow exponentially, the first concern of IRI is to provide quality local service through experienced personnel. Continually opening new offices in shipping and financial industry centers allows 24/7 communication with clients, avoids costly delays, and removes any possibility of language barriers, creating the ease and efficiency of business that owners and operators require. All IRI offices have the ability to register a vessel or yacht, including those under construction, record a mortgage or financing charter, incorporate a company, and service clientele.
